Target Audience and Activity Goal

This activity is intended for dermatologists involved in the management of patients with actinic keratosis (AK).

The goal of this activity is to provide an update on the assessment and prognosis, as well as the role of current and emerging therapeutic agents for the management of AK.

After successful completion of this activity, participants should be better able to:

  • Assess and identify patients that may benefit from earlier treatment of AK
  • Evaluate the prognosis of AK
  • Describe the short- and long-term goals of treatment for AK
  • Outline both the benefits and limitations of currently available treatment strategies for AK
  • Evaluate the safety and efficacy profiles of current and emerging treatment options for AK
  • Assess evidence-based data to inform clinical decision-making when selecting treatment
  • Adopt preventative measures for patients with chronic AK

To receive AMA PRA Category 1 CreditTM, you must receive a minimum score of 75% on the post-test.
